　　Recently, Quanzhou's first Food Showcase and Experience Cooperation Centre was accredited to the "Quanzhou Cuisine · Niuwang Jinjing (lit. 'Ox King Enters the Capital')" restaurant, located in the core business district of Sanlitun in Beijing. This restaurant, imbued with Minnan architectural character and authentic time-honoured flavours, now shoulders the functions of image display, flavour experience and cultural dissemination for Quanzhou as a UNESCO "City of Gastronomy" in the Beijing region, enabling Quanzhou's food culture to take root in the capital and presenting, to the capital's residents and to visitors from all over the country, the unique cultural charm of Maritime Silk Road Quanzhou.

　　While holding fast to the foundation of traditional flavours, the outlet has optimised its dining presentation and, on the strength of its authentic Minnan taste, built a steady reputation, consistently ranking among the top of the Fujian-flavour popularity charts on major Beijing lifestyle platforms — it has already become the preferred destination for capital foodies making special trips for authentic Quanzhou flavours.

　　The restaurant's overall décor takes the red-brick ancient-house architectural style of Minnan as its main design thread: walls are inlaid with distinctive Minnan patterned tiles, wooden partitions follow the courtyard structure of Quanzhou's old-street ancient houses, and panels with illustrations and text on Maritime Silk Road food culture are arranged throughout the space. In a prominent position in the dining hall hang the "City of Gastronomy" logo and city information of Quanzhou, so that diners, as they sit down to eat, can encounter at every turn the thousand-year thread of Quanzhou's culinary development and the cultural character nurtured by the intermingling of Maritime Silk Road commerce.

　　In recent years, Quanzhou has vigorously implemented a systematic "going global" strategy for its cuisine. In May 2026, the city issued the "Work Plan for the Construction of Quanzhou as a City of Gastronomy (2026–2029)", fully launched the "One Hundred Cities, One Thousand Restaurants" Quanzhou Food Showcase and Experience Programme, promoted the application of the "Design Guide for Catering Outlets of Quanzhou, City of Gastronomy" and the "Guide to Table Art of Quanzhou, City of Gastronomy", and actively built the "Quanzhou Fine Food Ingredients Library" and the "Quanzhou Fine Chefs Talent Pool". Experience centres (outlets) will be accredited in key cities around the world, so that the taste of Quanzhou can step out of Minnan and spread its fragrance across the globe, keeping the golden signboard of "City of Gastronomy" shining. The first batch of twelve Quanzhou Food Showcase and Experience Cooperation Centres (outlets) will be deployed in countries and regions including Singapore and Cambodia, with domestic coverage of first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Suzhou.
