On 18th October 2024, the Donghai Subdistrict Elderly Dining Hall in Fengze District officially opened with an inauguration ceremony, marking a key public service initiative for the year 2024.

　　The dining hall offers a wide variety of meals daily, addressing the challenges elderly individuals may face when dining out. It also encourages social interaction among seniors, promoting communication and community engagement. Over 40 elderly residents attended the ceremony and registered for dining service. Many attendees shared that the dining hall made them feel at home, and they were eager to form new friendships.

　　"Establishing elderly dining halls is an important initiative in improving elderly care services in Fengze District. Moving forward, the District Civil Affairs Bureau plans to establish a series of distinctive, high-quality chain dining halls across the district, ensuring that seniors can enjoy a fulfilling dining experience in their later years," stated an official from the District Civil Affairs Bureau.
