On September 7, the 16th Cross-Strait (Quanzhou) Agricultural Products Procurement Fair (hereafter referred to as the "Fair") opened in Nan’an, Quanzhou. Continuing the theme "Cross-Strait Cooperation: Agriculture as a Medium for Integrated Development," the event aims to drive agricultural innovation and foster deeper collaboration between both sides of the Strait.

“Over 15 years, the Fair has become a key event for cross-Strait exchanges and economic cooperation, reinforcing the vision of shared prosperity and a unified future,” said Wang Lianzan, Vice Secretary of the Nan’an Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, during his speech at the opening ceremony.

Spanning 15 zones across 26,000 square meters, the exhibition featured 784 booths, showcasing cutting-edge agricultural technology, cultural innovation, and tourism. The Fair not only highlighted developments in agriculture but also emphasized the integration of the entire agricultural value chain.

“Lefeng Town is known for its agricultural products, including handmade vermicelli. By leveraging the Fair’s platform, we aim to expand market access for our high-quality products and support rural revitalization,” said Xu Baisong, Mayor of Lefeng Town.
The Fair featured premium agricultural products from across the region, including rice, fruits, vegetables, tea, and seafood. A new National Regional Agricultural Brands Zone showcased distinctive local products, fostering regional brand development. Additionally, a section dedicated to Fujian’s ready-to-eat meals and aquatic products highlighted the region's culinary heritage.

“The Fair is an invaluable platform for promoting agricultural excellence. Our annual participation helps us connect with potential buyers, increase brand recognition, and showcase our strengths,” said Zhou Zhenrong, Deputy General Manager of Fujian Quanzhou Jinsui Rice Industry Co., Ltd.
The Fair is not just a product showcase but a dynamic platform for agricultural enterprises and buyers to explore cooperation opportunities. By leveraging cross-Strait economic strengths, it facilitates direct dialogue, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships and creating win-win outcomes.

“Exhibitions are the most effective way to promote products and quickly gain market recognition,” said Huang Laiyu, Chairman of Fujian Fenglai Food Technology Co., Ltd. Participating for the third year, he expressed his aim to further expand market share through the Fair.
In addition, the Fair hosted the Cross-Strait Agricultural Investment Promotion Conference, which focused on cross-border cooperation in smart agriculture. The conference explored new opportunities for international collaboration and provided a platform for agricultural enterprises seeking investment across borders.
